Out with the old and in with the new

So we have had roughly three weeks off tour. In that time we have all been very busy with our lives getting things together. We head on tour with our friends Young Guns and a band we havent played with yet called Save Your Breath. The tour is going to be very fun, and the shows are nearly sold out.

We have a couple of new lyric videos which you should check out for tour, as these songs will be played at the shows. There will be a new myspace, new pictures, new songs up, new news coming very soon.

RINGO STAR

On Tuesday evening this coming week, we have been invited to play a show at Bacchus in Kingston. As we understand it, this is the opening evening of what is to become a weekly rock night. We are honoured to be asked to play the first party.
Big thanks to our friend Alex for investing time and effort into promoting a rock night in our local area, like him we feel it's really important to keep nights like this existing.
So if you don't mind loud LIVE rock'n'roll, get down for 11.30 and party with us on the floor.
Keep going to watch live music. Te scene needs you now more than ever. In the immortal words of Blakfish...
'I don't know what came first, the shit music or the shit drugs? But i do know that kids who used to go to shows, now go to clubs'

Tour

The tour is now over. It was awesome to be out on the road again and we had a great time. Thank you if you came out to the shows and supported the bands. Here are few things that have happened…

In Sheffield we took it upon ourselves to turn what was the highest stage in the world into a platform for our amps, and just made it a floor show. It was a fun show and we got given cupcakes.

Sam slowly recovered from his illness as the tour went on. Poor guy was not good on the first half, but he soldiered through and played the shows nonetheless.

In Birmingham we did a shoot in an independent record store called The Tempest. This place is so rad, it has every cool record, including a copy of our first EP. We thought it was closing down, which sucked, but it turns out its only moving across the road. Fuck HMV, get down and support your local independent record stores.

The coolest thing about playing in Birmingham is hanging with the guys in Blakfish. They recently split which sucks so much, but most of the guys have formed a new group and are writing. Watch this space, its going to be awesome.
On the whole the tour was great. Make sure you check our page for our upcoming dates with Young Guns and Save Your Breath.
