This Is The End

This band has been everything to us for the past four years. We have toured the length and breadth of the UK countless times and shared the stage with some truly amazing bands, and some god-awful ones, played to packed crowds, and on many occasions just the bar-man and promoter. Every second of it has been incredible, and we wouldn’t change a single thing.

Last night all four of us met to discuss the future for the band and ourselves as individuals. It has become apparent over the last few months that we have reached a fork in the road. Carrying on as we have been, the next stage would be to write another record, and set the wheels in motion for another year or so of touring. However, this is a commitment unfortunately not all of us can make.

Over the years we have supported ourselves by working where we can, doing mundane part-time jobs to get by. We have also relied heavily on the generosity of our families, allowing us to live at home, and supporting us in our decision to do the band full time. The time has come to make a change.

This band has never been about making money or being the next sensation. It’s important everyone understands that we are nothing more than four best friends being creative, expressing ourselves, and using our music as a vehicle to travel wherever it will take us.

As we have left it, the band is not finished entirely. It will be impossible not to write music now and again, and maybe even record some if we find time, but for now we won’t be playing anymore shows. For this we are truly gutted, and wish the circumstances were different.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our band in any way possible; the fans, our friends and families. What we have achieved and experienced would never have been possible without you. Please continue to enjoy our music and spread the word.

Peace & Love,
Steve, Chris, Rob and Sam.
